Access and Amend Your Information

You may update or correct your account information at any time by logging in to your account. You may also make a number of other adjustments to settings or the display of information about you as described in more detail in the following section about Your Privacy Settings.

Your Privacy Settings

There are levels of privacy that members can choose from in setting up their Member / Community profile.

Use Real or Fictitious Profile Name & Picture. You can choose to use your full real name, or real first name without last name (default at signup), or enter a fictitious first name or nickname. Your profile picture can also either be your real picture or a fictitious profile picture.

Make Profile Private. Members can choose to maximize privacy by making their profile 'Private' which makes their member profile (Profile Name, Profile Picture, About Me) non-visible to other registered PYS Members but also prevents them from participating in the community i.e. posting questions, comments.

Profile Information vs. Account Information. Please note that your primary 'My Account' information (First Name, Last Name, Email) is separate from your Community Forum 'Profile' information (Profile Name, Profile Picture, About Me).  These privacy settings are referring to the Community Forum 'Profile' information. Your 'My Account' information is private and utilized only for products and services you purchase on the site such as private coaching engagement/files and exclusive content such as webinars and courses.

More detailed information on the above Member Privacy Settings can be found at planyourstart.com/member-overview.

Emails and Communications. When you join the PYS Platform by signing up for an account or creating a profile, as part of the service, you will receive occasional emails containing content that we believe may match your interests. You can manage your email and notice preferences in your account profile settings, under your Emails and Notifications settings. If you opt out of receiving emails about recommendations or other information we think may interest you, we may still send you transactional e-mails about your account or any services you have requested or received from us.

Children’s Privacy. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or under the age of 14 for anyone living in Spain or South Korea) or knowingly allow such persons to register. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the relevant age without parental consent, we take steps to delete that information.

Links to Other Websites. The PYS Platform may contain links to third party sites or online services. We are not responsible for the practices of such third parties, whose information practices are subject to their own policies and procedures, not to this Privacy Policy.

California Privacy Rights. California law permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, a list of the third parties to whom we have disclosed their personal information (if any) for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the types of personal information disclosed to those parties. If you are a California resident and would like to request this information, please submit your request in an email to contact@planyourstart.com.

Contact Us. If you have any questions about our practices or this Privacy Policy, please contact us at contact@planyourstart.com.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy. If we change our privacy policies and procedures, we will post those changes on this page. If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy that materially change how we treat your personal information, we will endeavor to provide you with reasonable notice of such changes, such as via prominent notice in the PYS Platform or to your email address of record, and where required by law, we will obtain your consent or give you the opportunity to opt out of such changes.
